About the Summit

The SpaceTech Capital LP Summit is an invitation-only institutional briefing convening a select group of allocators — sovereigns, endowments, pensions, insurers, family offices, funds-of-funds, and select high-net-worth individuals — for a substantive discussion on the strategic and financial maturation of the space economy. Introducing SpaceTech Capital I LP

The Summit will mark the formal introduction of SpaceTech Capital I LP — a space & defense dedicated venture fund for institutional allocators who require more than a sector thesis. The fund is structured around capital durability, government-commercial alignment, and infrastructure-grade return profiles, offering sovereign investors, endowments, and pensions a disciplined entry point into one of the most consequential shifts in the global economy.

Richard Chenel is Founder of Chenel Capital Partners, a New York-based alternative investment firm focused on venture and growth-stage opportunities. He invests with a value-add orientation, bringing operational insight and sector conviction to each investment. Richard is also the founder of The Chenel Foundation, supporting various nonprofit group such as ADDF, Reform Alliance, and One for Justin.

Richard Chenel

Gregory Wagner is a capital markets executive with over 20 years of experience in institutional capital formation, investor positioning, and go-to-market execution. He has held senior roles at ABN AMRO, RBS, and Itaú, where he built and scaled multi-billion-dollar platforms across prime services, securities finance, and institutional trading. He holds an MBA from Fordham University and executive certifications from Harvard and The Wharton School.

Gregory Wagner

Kristin leads investor relations at Chenel Capital Partners, overseeing client service, marketing, and reporting. She brings 18+ years of experience across private equity, venture capital, real estate, infrastructure, and private credit. Previously, she was a Principal at Blackstone, advising on alternative portfolios for U.S. insurers. Kristin holds a BA from SUNY Buffalo, an MA from the University of Pittsburgh, and an MBA from Cornell.

Kristin Kunert

Yossi Ben-Shitrit is a strategic operations and international relations expert with senior experience across the Israeli government and the high-tech sector. He brings deep expertise in complex geopolitical environments, global business development, and institutional partnerships. Yossi holds degrees from the Technion and the University of Haifa (Summa Cum Laude) and mentors through the Rothschild and Ramon Foundations.

Yossi Benshitrit

Scott focuses on capital formation at Chenel Capital Partners, supporting fundraising, LP relationships, and institutional positioning for its space-focused strategy. He brings 23+ years of experience across hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and asset management. Previously, he helped firms raise assets and market investments. Scott earned a BA from Lafayette College and holds CIMA® and CMFC® designations.

Scott Warden

Sophia leads strategic operations at Chenel Capital Partners, overseeing daily operations, communications, and cross-team execution. She manages internal systems and supports fundraising and LP engagement. With 10 years of experience across venture capital, capital markets, fintech, and emerging tech, she has worked in startups, public firms, and global institutions.
